Shakirah Gittens is a the renaissance woman of The Millennial generation born and raised in the Bronx, New York. The future media maven is using her platform to bring positive media to light, and encourage entrepreneurs.

As a young PR/Marketing professional in New York City, she has worked with NBA All Star Weekend, Google, The Source Magazine, Amadeus and Platinum Boy Music, Rush Philanthropic, UrbanWorld, The African American FIlm Festival, The Newark Bears, and more over the last 5 years.

As a millennial, Shakirah grew up in love with music. She imitated dance moves of Michael and Janet Jackson as her daycare pastime. She was casted in movies such as ‘Music of the Heart,’ starring Meryl Streep, ‘Changing Lanes,’ starring Samuel L. Jackson and graced the cover of Vanity Fair Magazine cover because of her skill as a violinist. By the age of 8, she began to dance at the Dance Theater of Harlem, and placed first at the Junior Olympics by the age of 10 as a gymnast.

Simply Shakirah is multitalented woman, with a multifaceted personality, that wishes to inspire others through positive media and business.
